The college strongly believes in prioritizing the mental wellbeing of the students and undertakes diligent efforts to establish healthy relations with them. The college has been running a mentor-mentee programme wherein the students choose a faculty member as their mentor, with whom they may express themselves and get help contemplating and managing their emotions.
The institute also has a professional counsellor with whom the students may book an appointment for seeking consultation. All these steps have been taken to ensure that the students get increased confidence and decision-making skills, they are able to accept themselves and gain self-esteem, while gaining a greater degree of self -awareness. On a deeper level, such measures help relief the students of their anxiety, depression and other related mental health disorders.
