Biography
Taxation and Corporate Finance are two fields gradually growing towards impacting our lives more and more as the world progresses. Taxation focuses on understanding the revenue system of an economy and the regulatory requirements for individuals while Corporate Finance is guiding every financial decision from personal budgeting to investment decisions of companies and governments.
Currently, Mr. Amit has been focussing his research on the discovery of real signals from the payout policy of firms. He is examining the extent of inter linkages between the developing and developed financial markets by testing the presence of market integration. He has been faculty for subjects such as taxation, corporate finance, Investment analysis and portfolio management, international finance, financial software packages, transfer pricing and international business.
Starting his teaching career at Ramjas College, he later joined Shri Ram College of Commerce before starting to teach at Shaheed Sukhdev College of Business Studies.
